For supervisorsA Space is a teaching, learning and assessment environment within the Multifunctional Room. It works as a virtual classroom for a class, workshop or training group, bringing together invited participants, resources, activities and ongoing feedback. In translator and interpreter training, it supports comprehension, translation and interpreting practice, discussion of choices and revision. The Supervisor organizes this experience and follows the Spaces they created or are assigned to.
Present this information clearly and, when possible, in the group’s sign language. A possible sequence is:
Explore a video, text or other reference and explain what to observe.
Use Comments only to exchange interpretations and questions.
Choose Submission, Simultaneous or Consecutive for the skill being practised.
Offer feedback and invite reflection on translation decisions.
Adapt the sequence to the objective, languages, participant level and available activities. Explain what will be learned, what is expected and how contributions will be followed.
The instructions use English control names. Screenshots show an example installation in German; use field position and function as a guide.
