For participantsThe Comments only activity is a discussion space within a Space. Its purpose is to exchange ideas, share opinions and reflections, and communicate with others through text or video comments, according to the available options.Participation takes place in the Forum tab: write a comment when available, or use Send Video to record or upload a video contribution. First check Instructions, which contains the Supervisor’s guidance and supporting materials under Attachments.In this activity, comments form the forum conversation. In a Submission activity, work is submitted through Assignment.
The reference images show the English interface, labelled Comments only. Names and options may vary with the language and Space settings.
Within the Space you were invited to, select the discussion. The screen shows the title, introductory material, activity owner, and Forum and Instructions tabs.The Comments only label identifies an activity focused on participation through comments.
In Forum, use Send Video to start a video contribution.

Check the instructions and materials
Open Instructions to understand the discussion. The Supervisor may provide video or text guidance and supporting materials such as videos, documents, links and VisuoLab resources.Read the instructions before preparing your contribution.

Join the forum
Return to Forum. In the example, the forum displays Start this discussion? and Send Video, which lets you contribute a video.Depending on the activity’s options, you may also participate through text comments.

Choose upload or record
On Send video, check the reference video, enter a title and select Upload to use an existing file or Record to make a video.

Check camera and microphone
If you select Record, the interface may show Equipment check. Allow camera and microphone access, select your devices and continue.

Record your response
Wait for the countdown, record your video and use the available controls. Review the recording when finished.

Review and add details
Check the video before sending. The illustrated sequence offers options to record again, attach a .vtt subtitle file and add time markers with descriptions.

Send and confirm
Select Done to finish. Sent! confirms completion in the illustrated sequence.
Check the video before finishing. In this flow, the upload is a contribution to the Comments only forum.

Follow the discussion
After publishing your contribution, follow new messages and, where planned, comments and feedback from others and the Supervisor.
