Understand video books and organize topics, text, videos and other media for publication in VisuoLab.
A V-Book (video book) is a digital resource organized into topics and subtopics, combining videos, including sign language videos, with text and other media. This structure presents a work, a subject or a learning pathway in sections that readers can consult. In VisuoLab, you build the V-Book directly in the Resource Creator. Rather than uploading only a finished file, you arrange content in a sequence and bring it together in a single Portal resource.
Organizes a main part of the book, such as a chapter or theme.
Subtopic
Divides a topic into smaller sections.
Text
Provides written explanations, guidance and content.
Media (Upload or link)
Adds videos and other materials to content blocks.
Glossary — optional
Collects videos of terms or words in sign language for reference.
For example, a V-Book about a story might have an Introduction topic followed by Chapter 1, with Story in video and Comments on the work as subtopics. Each section can combine text, video and supporting materials. You can create as many topics and subtopics as you need; there is no quantity limit. Organize the sections to make navigation and understanding easier.
Plan the sequence before publishing. The editor’s notice states that, after publication, individual parts of the V-Book can be edited, but their overall order cannot be changed.
