Your production can then be played alongside the material, supporting comparison, review and feedback. Depending on the Supervisor’s task, you can work with one video, multiple video sources, teleprompter text or a PDF. Check Source material and use + Simultaneous to start your production. ## Before recording 1. Check **Instructions** and the activity materials. 2. Identify the required sources and the translation or interpretation objective. 3. Check camera, microphone and framing. Allow device access when requested. 4. In **Forum**, locate **Source material** and select **+ Simultaneous** to begin. ## Record using the source material Choose the example matching your activity. The Supervisor defines the materials and instructions; available options depend on the settings. Follow the source video and record your response. The material appears on the left and your camera area on the right. ### Prepare the recording Check the material and framing. Use **Record** to begin and follow the on-screen controls. Source material on the left and the participant’s recording area on the right. ### Follow the video while recording During recording, **REC** and the timer show progress. When finished, use **Stop** and review your response before sending. Recording in progress with one video as source material. The task may use two videos as sources. Review the materials and produce your response according to the Supervisor’s instructions. ### Check the materials The two videos appear beside your camera. **Play all** lets you play the displayed videos together. Activity preparation with two videos and the recording area. ### Record your production Start with **Record** and follow the sources as instructed. Use **Stop** when finished. Recording in progress with two videos presented as sources. ### Review the result Play the materials and your recording to check your production. Continue using the on-screen finalization controls. The interface can display the main material and other videos beside the recording area, supporting tasks with multiple sources. Identify which materials should guide your production and how to use them, following the Supervisor’s instructions. Not every displayed video is necessarily a source: the activity may also show other participants’ productions. Example with main material, other displayed videos and the participant’s recording. Follow the on-screen text while recording your response. Consider framing and its relationship to the source material. Use **Record again** if you need to redo the production before sending. The screens offer optional **.vtt** subtitles and **Add marker**. The panel states a **250 MB** file limit; also check your installation’s guidance. Review the video and finalization options before sending. Include a message where appropriate and use **Send**. Then follow your contribution and available feedback in the activity. ## Follow productions and comment on sections After sending, follow the productions and discussion. Comments help analyse translation choices, clarify questions and provide feedback. When available, use **Add marker** to link a comment to a moment in the video. Locate the section, prepare your comment and use the text or recording options provided. Comments area beside the video, with Add marker. Markers appear on the timeline and help locate the section discussed. Use **View markers** to display them and **Jump to** to navigate available points.
